SB County small businesses can now apply for the COVID-Compliant Business Partnership Program Small Businesses in San Bernardino County - you can now apply to become a COVID-Compliant Business partner with the County and receive up to $2,500. All individual responses will remain confidential. The deadline to respond to the survey is Monday, May 25. We will present preliminary findings at the State of the Region event on May 28. Like our previous guides, this document provides businesses with an easy to understand explanation of what they need to do to apply for forgiveness of their PPP loans. Date and Time: Thursday, May 28 @ 4 PM Magic Johnson to Assist Minority-Owned Businesses Former NBA player and Hall of Fame member Magic Johnson announced this week that EquiTrust Life Insurance Co. - of which he owns a majority - is providing $100 million in capital to fund federal loans for minority and women business owners who have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. EquiTrust will work with MBE Capital Partners to distribute the loans through the federal government's Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The goal is to help 100,000 businesses secure resources that will sustain them through the pandemic.
