Google is launching new updates, last year is was mobilegeddon 1.0 in which Google updated their ranking system to include “mobile-friendliness” as a ranking signal. Studies found a 11% increase in traffic to mobile optimized websites post-Mobilegeddon.Sites that did not listen to the warning may have been dinged in search engines, but Google is raising the stakes with Mobilegeddon 2.0.
